3D Exchange Stream Platform between 3D Apps
Speckle
For me that looks very interesting.
Would be nice if Bricscad could participate.
If I get that right this could offer Bricscad to Blender Exchange
by a self hosted server. Or Bricscad to Unreal/Rhino/.....
Or global collaboration between my Revit clients (?)

Currently supported Software (WIP)

At least the GUI, CI and videos look very familiar to Bricscad users

Well,
on the Speckle Forum there was a poll about which App connectors is interest in ....
And I am very happy to notice that Bricscad was even number two on the list !
I would love to have a lossless exchange between my Vectorworks
(also so far Connector missing)
and Bricscad.
Basically all between Revit - Vectorworks - Bricscad - Blender - Twinmotion - Cinema4D - Modo- Sketchup - Microstation - .... you name it ....0 -

I heard that Bricsys played already with Speckle and there is even evidence on Github.
Unfortunately the latest activity has been a while.
So I think it is wise to not hope for a Bricscad Connector in the foreseeable future,
which would finally would have offered my a second (*) Connector support beside
my one and only Blender Connector and IFC Upload option in Speckle.
As I do not realistically think that my (RVT) clients RVT client's would ever be willing
to load as Speckle Connector on their machines just to make my live easier.
They are totally fine in their closed Autodesk BIM world.
So lets hope for future better ODA SDKs and ODA RVT in App Support.
So far the results of RVT or IFC imports between different CAD Apps still differ in
quality and import speed quite noticeably.
And not in a way that one single App would be perfect and all others are bad.
It is more all Apps have a loss of 30% information. Just a different part ....
