ARRANGE function in v23 faulty?
Hello.
Very new to BricCAD so much so I only had my subscription for three weeks before upgrading to v23.
A curious issue with the ARRANGE function, which in my trade I use a lot. (stage lighting designer)
In v23 if you have some objects, type ARRANGE a nice window slides in from the right, arrange as desired then click FINISH. In OSX when you click FINISH the app closes. I've tried on two different versions of OSX with the same result.
My question is twofold:
Has anyone else seen this?
Does the same problem manifest itself in the Windows version?
I found that if you switch off USE DRAGGERS then you can click FINISH and everything works, however as you carry on working with the drawing without notice the app closes!
Kind regards
Del

I've used it in windows 11 and didn't have any problem. I use arrange next to never, but was just curious to test it out. Sounds like an BricsCAD bug specific to OSX. However knowing how weird BricsCAD can be, it could just be that specific drawing file. Ive had drawings that consistently crash when I do a certain command at a certain time in the drawing, but don't happen in any other drawing.
As you said that you are new to BricCAD, This is my way of fixing. First run "AUDIT" and choose yes to fix errors. Then try the arrange function again. If it crashes again try the arrange on another unrelated object and see if it crashes. If if still crashes, start an entirely new drawing and try arrange function and see if that crashes. If it still crashes reinstall BricsCAD and try arrange in a new drawing. If that fails , contact support and put in a bug report. Also I haven't had a mac in ages, do you need to check for updates in OSX ?0
