Blank Tool Palettes

I like to have the Properties, Layers & Tool Palettes open on my 2nd monitor. It works fine on my desktop, but the Layers Palette is blank when I try this on my laptop (see attached). I've tried to get it to work both by setting it up manually on my laptop, and by copying the cui file from my desktop. Anybody have any ideas ?

    I suggest you to erase:
    - user folder
    %AppData%\Bricsys\BricsCAD\V23x64\en_US
    - Windows registry entries created by BricsCAD: click Start + R > type regedit > click Ok > find and rename
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Bricsys\BricsCAD\V23x64

    After this try it again.
    You can change V23 with the version of BricsCAD you are using.
