Problems with new DYNDIMs
As already mentioned in the Mac Forum,
I have problems with new V23 DYNDIMs,
which I basically really like !
OK,
I do not know what the Problem really is
(and my running V23 SR contains desired one or even 5 Problems in one, sorry)
- if Direct Modeling on Components Level in V23 is really corrupting mySolids
- Or inserted Anonymous Blocks in my Walls corrupt these
- if it is really corrupt Solids, that crash my DMAUDIT, or DMAUDIT itself
- or DMAUDIT itself or/and MTF for DM ...
- if it is really corrupt Solids that trigger my new V23 DYNDIMs to make BC freeze or new DYNDIMs itself
- .....
Anyway, seems like,
while V22 does not find any issues with my geometry when AUDIT and DMAUDIT,
when back opening in V23 my potentially corrupt (?) Solids may get more and more.
So my V23 BIM will freeze pretty soon.
I would love so much to work with V23 BIM and its new features vs stable V22.
Is there any Setting to temporarily deactivate new V23 double-DYNDIM - when you select
a single (Wall-like) Solid ?
As, as soon as the DYNDIMs get nuts and do no more disappear when everything deselected,
BC will crash after mostly any other unrelated command or action ....
The only workaround is closing and reopening the File.
I went already
a) through all DYNDIM or similar Settings I could find, without success, beside losing all editing DYNDIMs.
b) Help Files do still not contain most V23 new features, like The DYNDIM thing here, in Release Note called just "Wall dimensions"
