Solving Singular Matrix Problems With BricsCAD InPower

This error will happen when a bus is isolated with no line or cable connection to the rest of the network. It can also occur when the System Base block is missing from the dwg file.
Another possible singularity problem comes about when the Ybus matrix is actually singular, meaning that two of the network equations are not independent. This one is a little more tricky to resolve. I have had good luck adding a small resistance to the network elements to force independent branches.
