Can you assign a linetype (or preferably layer where all settings can be Bylayer) for the Minor and Major contours associated to a Tin Surface ?

    There is no setting for the linetype of contour lines, an alternative workflow would be to extract contours from the final version of the TIN surface. This way you get polylines that you can display and edit as desired.
