Holes not showing in drawing view

The holes were added to the red solid using the standard part library for ISO threaded holes.
They display properly in model space by not in the layout view, created using the _viewbase command.

The holes appear correctly in the mechanical browser under the node for the red part.

  • Hello Galex,

Have you tried adding them manually to the view?
with the "viewedit" command select the option "Select".
and then select the holes. The view should now update with the holes visible.

    With kind regards,
    Robert

OK, tried that. The part - including the holes - is already selected and shown dashed.

  • Ok then we can rule that out.
Have you checked if the holes are properly linked to the solid?
Use the "BMLINK" and "BMUNLINK" to check that.

    Thanks Robert.
I played around with BMLINK and BMUNLINK without any success. I need to look into those commands a bit more.
I ended up deleting the holes and re-creating them. They now appear in the 2D view, however the threads are not represented properly.

I toggled the THREADDISPLAY variable and it made no difference. Is there a way to get threaded holes to display properly in the 2D view? I'm talking normal convention of having double lines in elevation.
