Change file type of bricscad
Bricscad had a huge potential in AEC platform please donot limit this software potentials by sticking to DWG format as it is not meant for bricscad future endavour and may pose many limitation to the capablities of bricscad especially in AEC fileds. Add a translator to communicator format dwg, but please change the format of file to other open source home grown bricscad native format. It will open room to adapt any model from designinging to manufacturing Analysing fatigue, FEM models based structural analysis even sending structural information to other software for further analysis in PCB, electromagnetics and Structural design of building structure roads bridges etcs with BOM / BOQ in same environment it will be huge game changer.
This is My humble request to adapt the file format even after changing the parametric sketch to remain parametric after extruding or any operation this way more possibilities in true parametric capability of bricscad is held back by sticking to dwg format.
