Image insertion
Hi Is it possible to insert a image into a DWG and for it to become inprinted in the file rather than referenced?

Yes. Just copy the image to the Windows clipboard, and paste it into the drawing.0

Sorry I mean a georeferenced Tiff. So the image needs to go in the correct position and scale.0

We had access to JPG's but they had a JGW that with a lisp moved and rescaled the image.
Ok did do a import photos from a mobile phone. Used some software that read the lat, long from the image then inserted it at that point, used CIV3D which supported lat, long import similar to craigswearingen post.
So does your tiff contain georeference info.
