Delete key osx doens't work in bricscad lite v24

The message says enought I think. Appartently only the backspace has the ability to delete selected objects in bricscad lite v24. Since I'm used to do this by the delete key I'd like to know how to add this functionality again.

    Ask Bricscad support they may be able to help. You may be able to define a key to be "Erase" not backspace.

    They seem to have swapped out the old bug of the period (.) num-pad key not working with delete not working!

    I've forced a workaround by setting up one of my mouse buttons to send the 'erase' command, but a bit of a faff as you now can't delete text-box content.....

    Developers are aware of this issue and they are working on it.
    Unfortunately there is no workaround for this issue.
