How do I set my custom CTB to the default mode?

That can be done in your template drawing that new drawings are created from. Do you know how to edit the template file? A template file is basically a DWG file saved with a different extension. It is good to save your original template file as a back up but then open the file. In the dialog for the Open command there is a "Files of type" option for "Template Format (*.dwt)". Once open use the page PAGESETUP command and set the necessary CBT files. Save the file over the original (again a back up is recommended) or save it as a new file, with the DWT file extension.0

Options Files Templates, you can set your dwt as the default to be used when starting Bricscad or if you type New.0
