V24 - Screen not refreshing

I'm having an issue with the screen not refreshing after I perform a command - such as erasing some entities. For example, I'll do either an implied window or crossing on the entities and hit the delete key, but the entities don't disappear - until I regen the screen and they are gone. They don't highlight as dashed entities after I've done the window/crossing.

I've tried this in V23 (on the same machine) and it behaves as it should (highlights entities and paints over them after deleting them).

Is there some setting I need to change? As far as I know I have both V23 and V24 configured the same.

You can try to change PICKFIRST system variable value: https://help.bricsys.com/en-us/document/system-variable-reference/p/pickfirst-system-variable?version=V24&id=1650792465983. The value should be 1 (ON).

Thanks, Patricia. The gremlin seems to have left the building now - maybe it was something in a Windoze or Nvidia update.
