FITLINE with point cloud
I cannot get FITLINE to fit a line to a point cloud.
I have cropped a slice of a point cloud and I would like to fit a line to the cropped section.
According to the documentation this should be possible:
The FITLINE command works on any input entity type, so can be applied in various real life use cases. You can use it to draw a line which optimally matches a set of scanned points in the XY-plane.
Is there a snap setting or something else that could prevent from fitting a line to a point cloud?

can you try FITPOLYLINE and select a pointcloud and a section, this should work.0
