Windows 11 Pro 23H2 Update ?
My new system will not update from 22H2 to 23H2. 23H2 seems to be an entirely new operating system. Could Bricsys have any thing to do with that ? Thank you

Hello,
Windows update is not related to Bricsys software in anyway. Please check with Microsoft about that.0 -
Good day and thank you for your comment.
Yes, I understand bricks has nothing to do with Windows. but, bricks is closely tied to the hard drive It has to be uninstalled to be moved. Upon further investigation I have found that the MBR on the drive is not changed so, to answer my own question, no bricks has nothing to do with the lack of an update. from 22H2 to 23H2. Again, thank you very much.0 -
I also always wondered why I do not get all those fancy new versions
automatically, although I used to always hammer the check for update
button manually.
(I assumed it is a punishment because I do not want a Microsoft Account)
In the past I once downloaded the current Windows installer from MS Site.
I was frightened as I had to start a "new install". But it was just like a standard
Update. Beside the Version Number everything looked and worked as before.
For the 23H2 "upgrade" I read some articles and read through the comments
about other people having problems getting the update.
Someone mentioned that a site hosted a small MS KB update file that will
update, switch or force Windows to 23H2.
After some googling I finally found that. After download and installation it
made switch Windows version number to 23H2 in System Info for me.
As for the changes and new features of 23H2, if there are any (?), I think it
is still MS that decides if, when or which you will get them by standard
Windows Update. Depending on your hardware and other voodoo.
I did not bookmark those links but I think with that info you should be
able to find these too.0
