BricsCAD BIM Compatibility with REVIT

Is it possible to upload files to the AUTODESK BIM 360 cloud created using BricsCAD BIM software

  • Hi Dux,

Could you elaborate on what you are trying to achieve exactly?
    • BricsCAD BIM offers extensive IFC export options. For compatibility with Autodesk Revit or Autodesk BIM 360, we recommend using IFC4 Reference View, but we support IFC2x3 Coordination View and IFC4 Design Transfer as well.
    • BricsCAD BIM also allows exporting your model to RVT. Note that this is still work in progress, and in the current stage (V24) will result in non-editable geometry in Revit.
    • Both Revit and BIM360 allow adding DWG files as well. But be aware that DWG files created with BricsCAD BIM contain a lot of metadata (classification, properties, spatial location information like building, story, etc.) which is not supported by these tools and will therefore be lost. Depending on the exact use-case, we recommend using IFC or RVT instead.
