Problem when exploding non uniformely scaled block
Hi all,
running the latest BricsCAD version when I explode a non uniformely scaled block the block is exploded not in entities (like hatches and polyline which is was built with) but hatches disappear and all polylines are exploded to seperate lines.
I thought in previous versions the explosion of non uniformely scaled blocks didn't have this behaviour?
Or am I missing a setting somewhere?

Not sure if it helps in this case but I once learned that there are two ways to explode,
which do different things. EXPLODE and XPLODE.
No clue which does what ....
AFAIK one assigns the Layer of the Block to the content, the other keeps the content's Layers.
Maybe there are differences in geometry handling too (?)
I try the one from the Tool Icon in Quad first and if it does strange things, I may use the other.
Maybe it's worth to try.0 -
In my v17, exploding a non-uniformly-scaled block turns polylines into lines, but leaves hatches intact as hatch entities. My memory is that it always turned polylines into lines. I don't remember what happened to hatches in the past.JorisHoogstede said:....I thought in previous versions the explosion of non uniformely scaled blocks didn't have this behaviour? ....
