Sample lines
Hello. I'm testing Brics Bim vs C3D. Given that I mostly use C3D to draw longitudinal and cross-sections of the terrain, I would like to know if a similar way of working with Brics is possible?
In C3D, you create an alignment and then attach sample lines to it.
From these sample lines, you can create cross-sections and you can project various elements into them. Is something like this possible in Bricscad BIM?

Hello.
The sample lines feature is not implemented in Bricscad Civil.
For now, to analyze the corridor, it needs to be extracted as a 3D solid or mesh.
Then the sections need to be added manually and the views created as layout viewports.
Most likely, a better approach would be to use a third-party plugin, like Civil Site Design.
