how to have different text in instances of an inserted block
I am trying to use multiple instances of a component. In this case a row of terminals. I want each one to have a different number showing. I have created these numbers as text entities.
How do I do this? Here is what I have tried. I don't see any way to specify different test for each instance.

Use block attributes. Nobody reads the manuals anymore.

Attributes worked. I had used them before in a 2D schematic for wire numbers, but forgot. I had been hung up on trying to make them parametric in the 3D context. I want to enter the number once and have it appear in both locations on the inserted block, but could not figure that out. So, just enter the number twice.
