Unable to Change Layers on Some Objects from RVT file
I have created a DWG from a RVT file and I am trying to allocate the objects to meaningful layers. While I can do this for most, the objects on one layer, which is not locked, cannot be changed. In the Properties dialog the Layer name is 'greyed out' which I assume means that somehow it is 'locked'. If anyone has any suggestions as to how I may allow the objects in this layer to be changed to the layers required that would be much appreciated.

I sorted this out with the help of Jason Bourhill. SELECTIONMODES was the issue. I wasn't selecting the whole entity - just the faces. All working now.
