Hatch command does not work
Hello,
I have a problem with Hatch command. Since morning, Hatch command does not work. That means, when I try to Hatch an object, nothing happens and no Hatch is created. I have already Layer properties and Hatch properties and Transparency controled and the problem is not about those.
Can someone please help me?

Hello.
There should be an error message at the command prompt, in case the command fails.
To check the behavior of the HATCH command, you could test it with closed polylines having various shapes and sizes, possibly in a new drawing created from a default template.

Hello, thanks for your answer. It only do not work in one of my drawings. In other drawings works an usual. But in one specific drawing, nothing happens when I try to hatch. No erorr message or any other messages. It seems like when you draw something into an off layer, but there is no layer off.

Hello.
Since it only happens in a single drawing and there is no error message about it, it is quite impossible to know what happens.
One way to check whether the hatch entity is created would be, after ending the HATCH command, to use the SELECT command, and input "_last" at the selection prompt.
This will select the last drawn entity and you could check what it is.Alternatively, you could post a sample drawing and some details about how to reproduce the issue.

Have you checked the hatch scale in the offending file? There may be something in the scale type (imperial, metric) that is causing your normal expected hatch scale to be too big to show the hatch.

If it's actually creating a hatch but the hatch scale makes it invisible, you should be able to select the hatch entity by entering Select_Last_, and then change the scale in the Properties palette.

I have "solid" als type, so scale is not the problem.

No, there is no hatch at all. I try with solid as hatch type and have layer properties controlled too. It is really strange.

Is it being created on a layer that is frozen, off, or a 100% transparency?
