If you go into SETTINGS and search for OSOPTIONS, then you can turn off the option to ignore hatch when performing object snaps.

It would be also possible to EXPLODE the hatch but generally this is not a good idea with hatch patterns as it makes managing your drawing more difficult and can also balloon the size of your drawing.
Convert hatch pattern to lines?
I have been given a drawing with a ceiling grid made of a hatch pattern, I want to place lamps in this ceiling but the snapping feature wont snap to the hatch pattern.
Is it possible to convert the hatch pattern into lines or polylines so I can snap geometry to it?
