BricsCAD V24 runs worse in multiple screens? Any fix?

Hello everyone,

I have been having issues with the performance of BricsCAD V24 despite seemingly surpassing the recommended system requirements.

The application runs very slowly once a monitor has been connected to the Laptop. Once the monitor has been disconnected the app returns to running as normal, it doesn't seem to matter which display BricsCAD is running off, just having 2 displays active hurts performance substantially to the point of it being neigh unusable. Please see below the specs of the Laptop with this issue;

CPU; Intel I7-12700H

32GB DDR4 Ram (4800 MT/S)

INTEL IRIS XE Integrated Graphics

Is this caused due to the display adaptor being integrated graphics? I have not had any issues with other software such as TurbCAD & Solidworks running multiple monitors. If this is an issue, are there any fixes or workarounds?

    I run a laptop dual screen with a NVIDIA graphics card, you can set via windows, Bricscad use that graphics card rather than the inbuilt Intel. Can make a difference. Now where is it again.

    Settings app

    System/Display/Graphics

    Add an app drop down set to Desktop app

    Click Browse button navigate to BricsCAD directory, select BricsCAD.exe

    When it’s added to the list click Options and set to High Performance which should indicate your Nvidia GPU
