If I email a dwg with a hyperlink to an image. how do I make sure the hyperlink updates to the new location on the receivers computer? is there a way to set it so I just zip the dwg up with the image it will reference the folder that the image is in once saved onto another computer? Also when i plot to PDF can this ability be kept also where the hyperlink updates?

    If the image is in the same directory as the dwg it may work. Most times if say a xref is not where the link shows then CAD will look again at where the dwg is located.

    Hi Alan,

    I have tried etransmit but that doesnt work either. I have tested it out internally in the office and unfortunately it keeps the whole file location for the image.
