How can I change the appearance of xRefs? In this particular case, xRefs are present in the drawing and are also displayed. How can I change the appearance of the xRefs so that they are not dimmed or darkened in some way? They should be displayed in exactly the same way as the 2D drawing elements in the drawing.

Xref appearance is controlled by XDWGFADECTL system variable, by default xref transparency is set to 70. You can change the variable from the command line or find it in the Settings dialog.
