No mouse wheel scrolling, bad performance.

The first thing I notice while trying bricsCAD is that there is no mousewheel scrolling on my macbook air m2. I'm using a logitech m575.

The other thing I notice, is that compared to AutoCAD 2025, bricsCAD is noticably sluggish. AutoCAD appears to be using the apple silicon and bricsCAD is using intel. Apple Silicon has been out for a few years now, this really should be properly ported.

I'm highly attracted to a permanent licence, but if I can't zoom and it runs like crap I can't justify switching.

Thats really a tragedy …. no Apple ARM support in sight.

    That's strange.
I usually use a 3DConnexion CADMouse on my M1 Mini which has no scroll problems,
but problems with click reliability in humid summer above 60% humidity.
Therefore I also currently use a Logitech Mouse and driver, without a scroll wheel problem.

But this is an old cheap Logitech M500 USB Mouse.
It did not work with their latest AI+ driver as it asked for bluetooth mouse only ….
So I use the older "non plus" Logitech "logi Options" Driver Software.

BTW I am on Sequoia Public Beta since day one.

My problem is that the cranky scroll wheel by default has a side scroll option, which makes
the use of scroll wheel as important Middle Mouse Button totally unreliable.
Usually when I try to click Scroll Wheel it would zoom in instead of MMB.
I recently reset Logitech "by App" settings for all my 3D/CAD Apps to force "scroll left+right"
to MMB instead. Now Scroll Wheel Click is more reliable.

So, what Driver do you use on our MBA and which OS ?
If Logitech Software, do you have "Point and Scroll" set to Scroll Direction = Standard ?
