Layers on/off and multible layers and layouts
I am creating a large drawing with many layers in the model.
Publishing a number layouts showing different technical details i will like to turn on/off layers relative to each individual layout, so only relevant details is visual in the actual layout.
is there a tool to assign the layers turn on/off as i switch between layouts

If it only is for viewing you can use de·caff Viewer to show the model. It is easy to use arrow keys and plus sign key to navigate and thaw actual layer, freezing others.
I'm using it often.Free, just one java-file to run.

Hello.
There is no tool to set what layers should be visible in a layout.
Layers can be frozen or thawed in a layout viewport, but not on the entire layout.

I thought that's where "Layer States" are for …..
Maybe not working for the whole Layout (Paper Space ?)
but at least for the Viewports.0 -
In a layout the viewport supports the vplayer command but no option in paperspace. Given a layout can have as many viewports as you want may be the way to go.
