MOVE / STRETCH 3D FACE / SOLID VERTICES

Hi,

Can someone please give me the simple run down on how to grab and them move vertices on both faces and solids?

It's something I need to do often and as a long time user of SketchUp, it's such a slog to work this stuff out on traditional 3D CAD

SELECTIONMODE sets whether you're trying to grab a whole solid, a face of it or an edge.

Or, if you turn HKA (HotKeyAssistant) on, on the bottom bar, move your mouse onto a solid, then by dabbing Ctrl you can cycle between solid or face, then while holding Ctrl, click to select. Or move your mouse onto an edge, dab Ctrl to cycle betweem edge and solid (or face, depending how SELECTIONMODE is set (or not set at all). It's quick and ultra-flexible once you get the hang of it.

Then, once selected, you can use DMMOVE or whatever to make the move. Or click DMMove first then make the selection.
