Wall Connections - Compositions
Wall Connections work on the overall Wall Solids.
But when we use multy-ply Compositions, these look a bit odd
in Plan View.
E.g. a simple T-Connection between 2 Brick Walls with Plaster,
the touching Wall will end flush with the outer side of the Plaster
of the other Wall.
While in reality the Brick core should touch the other Brick core
and Plaster should interrupt.
So my questions are :
- Is there any magic in Paper Space Viewports that connects the cores and does eliminate lines between same Materials/Plies automatically ?
- If not, does this mean we have to re-model these connections in Component Level, to make it look right ?
- Would remodeling all these Connections possible in an automated way by PROPAGATE ?

This is what I did manually on component level,
but this is only a small residential building.BTW,
and is there any automatic solution to unite same Plies and eliminate the Lines between them in plan views ?0 -
Hi,
Unioning the same materials (to not show a line between to plies of the same material) is a material property, found in the properties tab of Physical material editor.
The connection needs indeed to be modeled manually but propagate (and detail) will work as long as the same compositions are found.

A case for AI?

I checked that I have "Union Section" on and that both Brick Materials are the same in both Compositions.
But I have still separation lines.
Though it might only work in generated Viewports, not in Model Space, but I see Lines also in Plan VP.Maybe a
Visibility State"Typed Plan" problem ?EDIT : Indeed ….

For me that sounds a bit impractical and quite error prone.
Are there any Bricscad users who do fine tune their Wall Connections or am I the only one who asked about this ?
