Scale command in Bricscad v25

Hello I have some issues with the scale command in Bricscad v25.
I use Dynamic input mode set to 4 - Tracking dynamic dimensions and polar tracking with a 15° step.
When using the scale command:
With the cursor in polar position, the entered scale factor (for example 2) is handled as a reference to a dimension of the object (for a circle the radius R is set to 2 mm).
With the cursor out of the polar step the entered number (for example 2) is handled as a scale factor (for a circle the radius R is set to 2*R mm).

This is confusing for me. In Bricscad v23 and v24 the input for scale was always a factor. Also I dont understand what is set as the base reference for objects like rectangle, polyline or a line under angle.
I can not find any setting, that could turn off this behavior.

Has anyone the same problem and/or a solution?

Thanks

  • Hello.

A solution could be to set DYNMODE = 3.

In this case, when polar tracking is displayed, the dynamic input is not displayed, and the factor value is input at the command prompt and used as such.
