Beam profile size in BOM

Hi,

I'm seeking help regarding BOM tables.

I'm creating structural steelwork drawings and want to add plate names and beam sizes to a BOM tables. How do I add the Beam profile size to a BOM table, I can manually add it to the description but automating this would save time.

    Hello.

    You could add a new column in the BOM to display the Profile property from the BIM category.

    In the BOM Manager, select BIM from the List of categories drop-down.
    This is to filter the properties, to be easier to select one of them.

    Then, from the List of available columns, select Profile and insert it into the BOM.

    Then, optionally, reset List of categories to <All columns>.

    Thanks Virgil, appreciated.

    Unfortunately I don't have a BIM category for the column selection list, not sure why.

    I will investigate further…
