Is anyone (successfully) using BricsCAD BIM in an open BIM project set up? We are facade consultants and we are required to add information to a model created in Revit. Since it was decided by the client to only exchange ifc files our workflow is as follows: import the ifc model>saveas.dwg>add the required information>export as ifc. The original ifc model is 64MB and the resulting dwg is 220MB. The exported ifc file (from the BricsCAD dwg) is then 109MB. (The file sizes are not huge, however the other consultants are saying that the file we are producing is heavier to handle and 'sluggish' behavior is experienced).

    Hi Tuol,
    Can you give some more information on which IFC version you are using for import and export and which software the other consultants are using for which they are reporting 'sluggish' behavior?
