Can't copy single lines and reversing scale
I have 2 questions and thought I'd put them in a single thread to save time.
First off I have a drawing that is quite large with a lot of layers. When I move the cursor over it every single item is highlighted if you hover over a single line. So I am pressing control to highlight single lines and points then copy with basepoint into a new drawing. However when I copy it over to a new drawing every line and layer copys over. How do I just copy the lines and points I want?
Second question is the drawing is scaled to 1:200 on A1 paper. Is the a quick way to reverse scaling?as currently I am finding a dimensioned property working out the scale and reversing it.
Also the drawing is meant to be to real world coordinate system but the scaling will have thrown this out. Is the correct information stored in the drawing? As currently I am finding a coordinate within the drawing and aligning it.

Rescaling just do that 1:200 is that not 5 times.
Yes we had architect designers that worked in MM and we worked in m and real world co-ordinates, 1st part was easy scale by / 1000. Second part back to real world co-ords yes need at least 2 real world pt co-ords, then can align the dwg. We sometimes had to have our surveyors go and pick up a few TBM points to use. If they used our department then we had original real world dwg.

Hello.
Regarding copying
It appears that the main drawing contains a block with several entities insided it.
The solution would be to access the block definition, by using either BEDIT or REFDEDIT, depending on the case.
Then, individual entities can be selected, copied and pasted to another drawing. When finished copying, close the block or refedit editor in the source drawing.
