Bricsys Network License Manager single point of failure
The current single-user license management (deactivate|revoke limitation - two times in license key lifetime) is really sub optimal. To me its not acceptable to spent half a day to get a single-user license issue sorted through the support channel for a payed product. This is why I would prefer network license management BUT as far as I can see, the Bricsys Network License Server is a single point of failure.
So far with a single-user license issue just one user is affected but when the Bricsys Network License Manager goes down, all users are affected. Other network license management systems, FLEXlm for instance, did support redundant servers 15 years agao already.
What options do I have with the Bricsys Network License Server? Is there any whitepaper how to deal with Bricsys Network License Server outages/recovery?
