Redefining ctrl-middle mouse button

If I disable the default mouse shortcuts using CTRLMOUSE set to 0, then can I redefine these shortcuts?

I would like to use ctrl-middle button (and maybe shift-middle button) to enact realtime zoom (similar to what ctrl-shift-left button does when CTRLMOUSE = 1). I would like to be able to use this realtime zoom in the middle of a command, without having to "exit" from it as one does when using the RTZOOM command.

  • Hello.

You could experiment with adjusting the current cui file, or maybe creating a partial customization file.

Use the CUSTOMIZE command and activate the Mouse tab.
Then, expand the nodes, Ctrl+Click and Shift+Click.

By default there are two empy items for each, the first is for the right button, the second is for the middle button.

Right-clicking on an empty item allows to insert a button (tool) and assign a command to it.
