Point Nodes
Which would be your choice of BricsCAD versions for surveyors who do not need 3-D modeling, but who wound like to use LISP programming to generate point nodes and markers similar to Autodesk Civil 3D?

If you want surfaces, load points etc then you need the pro version. the Lite version has lisp but may lack some features that you need as a surveyor.
I would look at "Stringer" and "Civil Site Design" also, these sit on top of Bricscad and will should give you all the features you will need. Just do a google.

I can’t afford add-ons like Stringer and Civil Site Design. Is the pro version of BricsCAD more adaptable to LISP programming as compared to the basic version?

No difference in Lisp itself. But if a particular Lisp function calls a command that doesn't work with Lite, then that function won't work with Lite either. And Lite doesn't support Visual Basic and C++ apps.
In the Command Reference (https://help.bricsys.com/en-us/document/command-reference?version=V25&id=165079036112), the page for each command tells you which license levels it works with.
The 30-day free trial can be run as any version you want. Just change the license level (with the SETLICENSELEVEL command) and re-start.
If you buy the Lite version and then decide you need a higher level, you can upgrade by paying the difference.
