BIM Drag behaving incorrectly in V25

When executing the BIM Drag command on 3D solids the it only the moves the face of the solid referenced from the quad menu instead of moving the entire solid, making the behaviour like that of DMPushPull of a solid face.
The issue persist even when using the manipulator to transform the solid. This behaviour was noticed in V25 and I would clarity whether its a new behaviour or a bug.

    What happens if you change the Tool's Mode by hitting the CTRL key ?
    (As shown in the HUD at the bottom)

    Yes I did, it connects adjoining solid faces as it's supposed to, but it does not change nor affect the behaviour in question
