  • Is the 3D block a component, mechanical block or a standard part from the BricsCAD library?

    I cannot reproduce this behaviour with a mechanical component at the moment in V25.2.05.

  • I submitted SR.

    Both are 3d blocks,

    Not mechanical components or from a library.

    apparently it is an attended behavior and should apply to all 3d objects,

    So what I got is a bug😁.

    I asked to enable a choice between the new one and the old.

  • Just to get it right regarding the issue you have… does the original get transparent during the copying but returns to normal after completion or does it remain transparent after completing the copying?

    If it is a new feature intended behaviour bug as you mentioned, then I am wondering what else might be in store for us simple end-users, e.g. also given the new publish behaviour. Unless you meant to say it is an unintended behaviour.

    Hopefully it was not invented by a developer from the Department Of Greater Efficiency. 😁

    @RSW

    The intended behavior is for all sources objects becom transparent.

    The bug is that some aren't...

    And I asked that it will be able to keep the old behavior that the sources objects are highlighted and not transparent…

  • In that case it does make sense to make the source transparent during copying but it could be a nuisance if the copy needs to touch the source, so I agree with having the option of highlighting to remain available as that would be easier.

  • @RSW

    What make sense to one isn't for others...

    for me this all transparent thing is annoying say the least…
