Creating a flattened PDF
Having an issue creating PDF's in the latest version of Bricscad that DO NOT require flattening when printing. I had the same settings on v24 with no issues. I have tried toggling the PDF/A support to all options with the same result… An extremely long time to print with the "flattening in progress" on several different models of printers.
I opened the PDF in Adobe Acrobat to flatten, and it take same extended amount of time.
Bricscad Version 25.2.05
Using the "Print as PDF" option
Any ideas?

Did you try with the PDF/A support set to none? (i.e. not just 2a, 2b etc.)
Did you try Publish instead of Print to create the PDF?
Did you try lowering the Vector DPI from 2400 to e.g. 600 or 300?
Is the PDF file size of V25 significantly larger than the V24 generated PDF of the same drawing?
Is there a (very) large image in your drawing that is included in your PDF. With another CAD program I used the entire image would be exported into the PDF instead of just the crop to page boundary and causing a long printing time because of that. Maybe V25 is doing something similar and V24 did not?

Hey, thanks for the response… I will answer below…

Yes, all three, no gloryDid you try Publish instead of Print to create the PDF?
I did, no glory here either.Did you try lowering the Vector DPI from 2400 to e.g. 600 or 300?
yes.Is the PDF file size of V25 significantly larger than the V24 generated PDF of the same drawing?
No, its not larger, its about the same sizeIs there a (very) large image in your drawing that is included in your PDF. With another CAD program I used the entire image would be exported into the PDF instead of just the crop to page boundary and causing a long printing time because of that. Maybe V25 is doing something similar and V24 did not?
No images, just vector graphics. At this point I have tried every possible combination in the "Print as PDF" custom properties with no luck in finding a solution around the flattening issue.

It seems like you may have found a bug with the PDF creation in the latest BricsCAD version. I suggest to file a support request.

Correct.
I made the submission.
Thanks again,
