WASD?

Can Bricscad be programmed to use WASD for 3D navigation, as in gaming - to match Twinmotion when you're working in that on same model on second screen at same time (TM also adds QE for up/down)? If not poss, or not a gd idea, why not?
With WASD, half the fun is to press say W (go forward) and A (go right) simultaneously, to go forward and rightward at 45o. Maybe not poss, if mapping to e.g. RTROTY is the only way.
Edit - just seen in https://www.cadforum.cz/en/qaID.asp?tip=5212 it maybe can, 'over there'.

  • Tom, use NAVIGATE
Glad you asked because I learned that "F" toggles between fly and walk modes.

How d'you mean Scott - NAV doesn't enable WASD? but is a mouse-move substitute i.e.>pan and zoom? Nothing like the gamers-level precision tho.
Is the F>walk or fly same effect as ... Ctrl+Shift+RMB>constrained (horizontal only) panning, then release Shift>free panning?
Double click MMB is supposed to >Zoom Extents - useful - but doesn't for me.

Navigate should enable WASD (though not QE like Twinmotion has for up/down, have to use MMB to pan). Mine switches into perspective view if it's not already. Motion centers about the cursor location. Depending on the scale of your model, maybe the movement is not noticeable? I adjusted (by right click) the steps-per-second rate to 24 from 4, and you can change step size, too.
