missing palette V25

afternoon All
Having a bad day here.
In v18 when I invoke a command a dialogue box with other commands pops up.
In v25 it doesn't. See below - ERASE option in V18
I have just let windows upgrade 10 to 11 and not saying it's related but other things with other programs have been meddled with and so don't discount here
I have searched but not knowing exactly what to ask no doubt have missed the obvious.
There doesn't appear to be a palette hidden off screen.
I have pressed every F key and again to change back to no avail. Looked along bottom of screen at the icons there and done same.
it's same for any other command - COPY etc

I see the command line has extras in 25 over 18 and suspect there's a toggle to make this work.
I looked here but didn't find an answer
