Unwanted duplication of Layers
Hi,
I´m instructed to design my circuits in a layer named "IN_CIRC".
The problem arrives when i copy with basepoint.
Say I copy an object in my circuit and paste it in the same drawing, the pasted object is placed in (and creates) a new layer named "IN_CIRC-IN_CIRC".
If i take that object and repeat copy with basepoint, it is placed in (and creates) a new layer named "IN_CIRC-IN_CIRC-IN_CIRC".
If this i repeated a total of 5 times, the whole of bricscad crashes without information in the crash report.
Has anyone had this problem before?

Hi Andreas,
Just to be sure - do you use Copybase command to copy entities? I can't reproduce the described behavior with this command. Maybe Copy command is suitable for you, as you copy/paste entities in the same drawing?

Hi Andreas, what version of BricsCAD are you using? Are the objects created from an add-on application?
Maybe something with that application in combination with the BricsCAD version might be causing this issue if something changed in either BricsCAD or the add-on around the time this started happening.
