Connecting fillings

Hi I have a new question. At work as a draughtsman I often use fillings in different areas f.ex. to show witch material they should use where, but sometimes I have to change different fillings into the same next to each other and my question is now if there is a possibility to connect two fillings the same way you can connect polylines?
If it isn't this would be a helpful function at the new BricsCAD version.

  • Im assuming you mean hatches. If you have connecting areas you can delete one hatch then using -hatchedit expand the first hatch into that area by picking the boundary.

  • Again, if it is hatches you are meaning, there are Autolisp files out there that can do what you need.

Merge or combine hatch should be your search criteria.

  • Hello.

Aside from the solutions above, you could experiment with using MATCHPROPERTIES or just setting the same origin point for the two hatches that are next to one another.
There will still be two hatches, but, visually, they will look "connected".
