Plot styles affecting model space

Why do plot styles affect my model space? Just because I print a part of a drawing from model space and apply the monochrome print style to it, doesn't mean I want my model space to appear in monochrome. How do I atop this from happening?

    Hello.

    Someting to try would be to right-click on the Model tab and choose Page Setup...
    Then, in the Page Setup window, in the upper-right area, make sure "Display plot styles" is unchecked.
