Link to a PDF File via Image Insert in a DWG File

Is it possible to link to a PDF file (as a single sheet reference) of a reference drawing in a DWG file? The PDF file will be stored in a predefined custom support file location. An image inserted into the DWG file will contain a link to the PDF file. When the image is clicked, the PDF file will open. Also, the DWG file will be inserted into other DWG files and contain various visibility states representing 15 various part sizes.

Please suggest other methods.

ALTERNATIVE: Insert an image file of the reference PDF directly into the DWG file and save.

    Yes you could have an image and some where look up the matching pdf file. Maybe have a text file of all links.

    I reached out to BricsCAD Technical Support. They noted that the Link Relative Path does not work. It is key to my project as it is part of the current company-wide customization. The error was forwarded to the Development Team by the Support Technician.
