Civil - Next Point Variable

I've created a template drawing that, for some reason, seems to want to create the next civil point with a random number (8125). I'm sure there is a logical reason how this came about but I have not been able to find how I can set the next point number to be 1 or 1000 or anything else. Is there a next point variable that can be set? If so, what is it called and how do I set it? I'm using V25 Pro.

    Not sure about observed behavior in V25, as there wasn't possibility to set the next point number. It was added in V26:
