Hello, i have some questions about work with section plane tool:

  1. How can I copy the settings of one section plane to another?
  2. How can I add a kink to an already created section plane?

    Hello.

    If the questions are about BIM sections:

    Some usual settings, like the layer, can be copied using the regular MATCHPROPERTIES command.
    BIM specific settings can't be copied automatically - there is no command to perform such a task.
    You could experiment with copying a section and position the copy in a specific way.

    BIM sections can only be planar.

    If the section state property is Plane, then the section is considered an infinite plane and the whole model is sectioned.

    If the section state property is Boundary or Volume, the section is limited to its geometric properties.
    In this case only the entities intersected by the section entity will be displayed in the section view.
    You could experiment with two such sections placed in different planes to simulate a broken line section.
