Only export selected Entities

I am trying to extract some line work and export as a DXF to import into another software but only using Bricscad Lite I can't select just one or two layers it just exports everything. I've tried creating a copy of the file and deleting everything I don't need but when I open it in my other software there is still a bunch of layers and blocks that come over that I can't see in the bricscad layers. my next attempt was to create a new blank sheet and copy over what I need and "Paste to original coords' but for some reason when I paste them the scale blows right out and instead of pasting to for example E: 1000 N:10000 it will paste to E:100000 N:1000000 any help around this problem would be appreciated.
