delete 0-RefEdit0

How to delete 0-RefEdit0 from the Layers panel? The red X isn't available. Trying to first delete the layer's content, SelectSimilar>Layer>0-RefEdit produces 'one entity not in the selection set'. Nothing visible. Click Del, nothing happens.

And what is the meaning of that Layer at all ?

(BTW what is Defpoints for or _DYN_DIM_3D in the file templates ?)

  • This is a temporary layer created by REFEDIT command, is it present in your drawing when editing is finished?

  • Looks like it is temporary and will disappear after exiting RefEdit.

Not sure why I have to select Blocks in the Block lists again - when it was already selected (or is activated by Quad) - for RefEdit and BEdit

As I am not experienced with Autocad behaviors, when I tried to create a Block for this testing - from a (Single) 3D Cube ….

Bricscad won't let you do so - but there is no warning or hint - it will just endlessly ask for a Selection or say Block creation failed because of a Problem. And I was not able to exit BlockCreate with multiple ESCs, until one point, maybe because the Cursor was outside of the tool window or I clicked in view window or CommandLine or whatever ….

  • Lyubov, I wasn't in a RefEdit session.
But now, with one more close-open of Layers panel, it's gone!
