Issues with Installing BricsCAD on MacBook Air (T2) with Kubuntu 25.10
Hello everyone,
I have several years of experience working with .dwg files, and recently I switched to Linux and started using BricsCAD. Now, I’m trying to use my old MacBook Air with the T2 chip, running Kubuntu 25.10.
Unfortunately, when I try to install the latest version of BricsCAD, either via the terminal or Discover, the installation completes successfully, but when I try to launch the application, the icon appears briefly and then disappears after a few seconds. I’ve also tried installing older versions, but none seem to work.
I’m unsure whether this issue is related to drivers (I can only use open-source drivers for the Intel UHD 617), the T2 chip with Kubuntu, or if there’s another underlying cause.
Has anyone had experience using BricsCAD on a MacBook Air with the T2 chip and Kubuntu? Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!
P.S.: I’ve already searched on Google and the forum, but I wasn’t able to find any relevant information.

Running Zorin 18 and no problems with anything. It's running on an i5 ThinkPad. It's runnig pretty well but will crash on large files (35 MB) does it.
