BricsCAD won't run on new win11 laptop

Hi, new here, I have V23, and transferred the license to a new Win 11 Dell laptop.

It ran great for a day, but I'm not sure if I closed BC or not. But when re-launching a week or so later (and not using BC during that time, IIRC), this error started showing up:

I've followed the instructions for repair, which resulted in the same.

I then did a clean install (including renaming the user/appdata/roaming/bc folder). Same. I tried all that again in two different locations (thinking the disk might be damaged?). Each time, upon installation, BricsCAD works perfectly; even my settings all transfer.

But after closing, and then trying to launch BC, I still get this error every time.

Does anyone have an idea on what's causing this?
